Supply Chain Planner (Maternity contract)

Working as part of a small but hugely instrumental team, within a great company, you will be an experienced Supply Chain professional who can manage the order to delivery process for cross trade orders. Working closely with suppliers and internal departments, you will have excellent communication skills and be highly analytical with excellent attention to detail.

Although initially a maternity contract, this will be for a minimum of 12 months.

Some key duties and responsibilities for the Supply Chain Planner will include (but not be limited to):

  • Monitoring inventory levels and arranging stock replenishment across multiple locations worldwide
  • Analysing sales data and preparing sales trends
  • Preparing and analysing previous months sales to forecast and present sales trends
  • Tracking sales following launch of new products
  • Interpreting sales trends and market demand and preparing forward forecasts for all channels
  • Managing the cross trade order process and arranging replenishment stock orders from non EU suppliers
  • Effectively communicating with suppliers in arranging planning requirements and improving supplier performance
  • Creating and maintaining documented supply chain processes

Skills and Experience required for the Supply Chain Planner:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • An ability to analyse to assess data
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent relationship builder and team player
  • Strong IT skills - particularly Excel (familiarity with Microsoft NAV ideal)
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Highly organised with ability to prioritise workload

Location - Droitwich outskirts (own transport needed)
