Technical Area Sales Manager - Filtration

£50,000 + Car + £10,000 OTE

Area Sales Manager Role Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Technical Area Sales Manager to lead and expand our filtration products sales within a specified region across the UK. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in sales within the filtration or a related engineering industry, with a demonstrated ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan tailored to the UK market, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets for filtration products within the UK.
  • Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies as necessary.

Revenue Growth:

  • Consistently achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) within the assigned territory.
  • Drive business growth through new customer acquisition and by maximising opportunities with existing customers.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals, tailored to the needs of UK-based clients.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers across the UK, acting as the primary contact within your territory.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and prompt resolution of issues.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to understand their filtration needs and provide tailored solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Engineering background or qualifications.
  • 5+ years of sales experience, ideally within the filtration or a closely related industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across a large territory.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the UK.
