Are you an experienced professional in tool making looking to take your career to the next level? On offer is the chance to join a leader in the plastic's extrusion industry. My client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tool Maker to contribute to their manufacturing processes.

Tool Maker Responsibilities:

• Assembling, fitting, and repairing tools.
• Following engineering drawings to measure and mark out the design for the tool.
• Using machinery such as lathes, presses, milling machines, and grinders to cut and shape the tools.
• Utilizing 2D and 3D computer-aided design and manufacturing software (CAD/CAM).
• Monitoring the tools used on the manufacturing line to ensure efficient run rates and identify necessary repairs or possible improvements.
• Attending machine breakdowns to identify the root cause and solve the problem.
• Assisting with tool maintenance.

Tool Maker Qualifications:

• Proven experience in tool making, preferably within a plastic's extrusion or manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of tool making processes, machinery, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Knowledge of safety standards and practices related to tool making.
