We're recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier of commercial catering and laundry equipment, who are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join their warehouse and logistics team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can handle large, high-value equipment with care and who holds a valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload commercial catering and laundry equipment using a counterbalance forklift.
• Safely move and store heavy or bulky items in the warehouse.
• Pick and prepare orders for delivery, ensuring accuracy and safe packaging.
• Receive incoming goods, check deliveries against paperwork, and update stock systems.
• Assist with stock counts and maintain tidy, well-organised storage areas.
• Follow all health & safety procedures when operating machinery and handling equipment.
• Work closely with delivery drivers, engineers, and the logistics team to ensure smooth operations.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence - essential.
• Previous warehouse experience, ideally handling large or specialist equipment.
• Comfortable lifting and moving heavy items safely.
• Basic IT or scanner knowledge to support stock recording.
• Reliable, team-focused, and safety-conscious.
• Good communication and time management skills.
