Warehouse Operative FLT - Temp to Perm!

We have an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business in the outskirts of Worcester. Seeking a long-term temp to perm candidate, you will have control of goods received and management of all outbound materials and work in line with daily, weekly and or monthly schedules. Whilst operating Counterbalance and Bendi FLT, you will work closely with the production department which will involve an element of lifting up to 25kg.

Duties:

• Working in a small warehouse team
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck
• Checking for damaged or missing items, to then sort stock for storage in the warehouse
• Operating a forklift truck to move and rearrange stock and ensure that products are stored safely (especially chemicals and energetic material) and labelled correctly
• Booking goods in operating the internal computer system
• Measuring and weighing good in
• Ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent returned orders or damaged goods
• May involve working within a manual production area (Can be a dusty environment)

Requirements:

• In date FLT Counterbalance and BENDI licence is essential
• Demonstrate experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills and IT competencies. (Excel, Word and Outlook)
• Lifting involved (upto 25kg)
• Willing and keen to learn and multi-skill into other departments - including production

Hours: 8:00am - 4:45pm Monday to Thursday / 8:00am - 12:30pm Friday

Pay: £13.00 per hour (Temp to Perm)
