Pay Rate: £15.00 - £15.50 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week

• Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30

• Friday: 08:00 - 15:30
  Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Wet Paint Sprayer to join our client, a well-established local engineering company based in Kidderminster. This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity for an experienced individual looking to secure long-term employment within a busy production environment.

The Role

Working as part of a small, close-knit team, you will be responsible for preparing and spray painting metal components to a high standard, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Mixing paints accurately to the required specifications and ratios

• Wet spray painting metal components using 2-pack epoxy paint

• Preparing metal surfaces using DA sanders and appropriate preparation techniques

• Adhering strictly to Health & Safety and COSHH regulations when handling paints and chemicals

• Working collaboratively within the team to meet production deadlines

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Wet Paint Sprayer within an engineering or manufacturing environment

• Confident mixing and applying 2-pack epoxy paint

• Experience preparing metal surfaces prior to painting

• Strong understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures

• Reliable, detail-focused, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
