“Do you only provide commercial work?”

At Hewett Recruitment, we have several difference specialist divisions, covering commercial, engineering, IT, industrial and executive talent, catering to all levels of experience and skills.

“Will I be charged?”

It’s a common misconception that temporary candidates are charged a fee by recruitment agencies, taking a percentage of their salary. This is not true. Temporary workers are paid an hourly rate, with the recruitment service being free of charge.  Temporary workers have the normal PAYE deductions taken from their wages and accrue holiday pay from the first hour they work.

“Am I just a number?”

“Is PPE Provided?”

Hewett Recruitment provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for industrial temps, dependant on what is required by the client for individual temporary assignments.

"Is Temporary work just an odd day here and there?"

Temporary work can include shorter assignments for an odd day or 2 but here at Hewett Recruitment we typically find our temporary assignments can be for much longer periods of time, with the possibility of permanent employment. Many of our clients employ temporary candidates once they’ve established themselves within the company, allowing both parties the chance to get to know each other and assess if they feel comfortable and capable within the role, ensuring the best possible fit into a company’s culture.
