6 month FTC - Management Accountant
Job description
My client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant on an initial 6 month FTC.
Your role will help provide support across the Finance team to ensure financial controls and procedures are followed and deadlines and targets are met.
Duties will include...
- Submission of VAT returns, reconciliation of Balance Sheet
- Analysis of month end overheads
- Prepare and post cashbook supplier postings.
- Purchase Ledger carriage and GRNI housekeeping.
- Process quarterly Statements.
- Assist in the population and set up of the Annual Budget.
- Review overhead expenditure
- Process credit cards ensuring expenses are fully receipted in line with the Company expense policy and expenses and VAT are accurately coded.
- Provide holiday cover for Accounts Receivable, Payable and Banking clerks.
- Sorting through outstanding remittances which are received after payments have been allocated,
- Review Customer accounts and ensure "Forms" information is updated for automation of statements and chase letter, review customers with multiple accounts.
- Assist in reconciling monthly Balance Sheet Control Accounts.
- Assist in reconciling unallocated cash on Accounts Payable and Receivable Ledgers.
- Review Accounts Payable and Receivable Sub Ledgers.
Ideally you will have the following skills and experience
Part of fully qualified (advantageous)
Broad accounting disciplines including AR, AP, Banking and Ledger Reconciliations.
- Strong MS Excel skills
