Assistant Accountant Admin (Part Time)
Job description
My client are a busy and well-established business based in Droitwich seeking a highly capable Assistant Accountant to join the team on a part-time basis (around 3 days a week).
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills and confidence working with data-driven systems. You'll be responsible for core administrative and financial duties to support the smooth running of the operations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and manage sales data in preparation for invoicing
Produce weekly and monthly invoices and customer reports
Process weekly wages and monthly salaries (across circa 30 staff)
Prepare nominal ledger journals and reconcile trial balance monthly
Assist with quarterly-in-advance (QIA) invoicing
Respond to customer queries regarding insurance and QA
Provide ad hoc customer reports as needed
What We're Looking For
Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel (including Pivot Tables & VLOOKUPs)
Analytical thinker with high attention to detail
Comfortable working with large volumes of data
Able to follow defined processes and work independently
Experience with Sage Line 50 and IRIS Payroll ideally
