The Role
We are seeking a results focused, resilient and positive Business Development Manager to lead and expand aftermarket sales across multiple specialist sectors. You will play a key role in developing long-term B2B partnerships, driving growth from existing accounts, and securing new opportunities in the aftermarket and distribution channels.
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and margin growth in line with company targets and strategy.
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and winning new business.
- Develop and maintain a robust new business pipeline.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, dealerships, and key accounts.
- Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events.
Requirements:
- Degree educated, ideally in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven track record in business development, account management, or sales within the automotive or related aftermarket sectors.
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships at all levels.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently.
- Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel.
