Finance Manager

This Finance Manager role is a new opportunity created due to ongoing business growth, representing a fantastic opportunity at what is a great time to be joining the company.

The main focus for the Finance Manager is to ensure all tasks within the finance department are completed accurately, efficiently and to a high standard. To be the first contact for all partners and stakeholders who have any finance related queries and to build and maintain processes and complete internal audits, to ensure standards are met.

Managing all costs, monitoring all transactions, through P&L, Balance Sheet and General ledger, to ensure all audits are smoothly managed. Being organised, focused with attention to detail is essential to assist in the smooth running of the finance department.

Finance Manager Responsibilities:

  • Cash flow management.
  • Payment runs, monitoring supplier payment requirements.
  • Reconciling bank statements and transactions.
  • Month end postings and review.
  • Balance sheet reconciliations.
  • VAT reporting and payments.
  • Supplier statements reviews.
  • Monitoring all supplier and customer documents to ensure all requirements. are met and all documentation is saved in Netsuite system.
  • Monitor all credit limits and payment commitments from customer.
  • Support in budget and forecast management.
  • Support in all audits and financial statutory requirements.
  • Adhoc tasks required.

Finance Manager Requirements:

  • Understanding of credit control and workings of a finance department.
  • Finance Manager experience of 5+ years.
  • Clear understanding of NetSuite and linked customer systems such as Procure Wizard and EDI.
  • Problem solving skills essential.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to multiple tight deadlines.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude with stakeholders.
  • Helpful, hands on approach and the willingness to learn and develop.

Based in Worcester.

Salary circa £35k.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
