Internal Communications Executive
Are you a skilled communicator with a passion for engaging employees and enhancing workplace culture? Do you have experience in crafting compelling messages and writing and promoting a story? With a keen eye for detail, you will be an excellent relationship builder at all levels working within this multinational software company.
Location: Worcester (Office 3 days per week)
Salary: £28k + Competitive benefits
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Internal Communications Manager in executing the internal communication strategy to support employee engagement.
- Acting as a subject matter expert in internal communications across the business.
- Ensuring all communications reflect the culture and values of the company for maximum engagement.
- Collaborating with the Marketing/External Communications team to maintain a consistent message and strong employer branding.
- Coordinating information sharing for all relevant stakeholders within the business.
- Supporting the Employee Engagement Forum by sharing information, producing event reports, and celebrating successes.
- Partnering with various departments to ensure the intranet is up-to-date, engaging, and content-rich.
- Advocating for the intranet day-to-day, supporting content editors and liaising with our external partner.
- Collaborating with the IT Services team to assist in the administration and maintenance of the intranet and other internal communication channels.
- Assisting in the production of the newsletter on a scheduled timeline.
- Assisting with internal marketing and employee initiative launch material for improvement
Skills and Experience required:
- A degree in journalism, media, communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in a similar role within a services environment
- Experience with multi-medium communication tools
- Experience in producing creative and engaging internal marketing material
- Experience in engagement activity communications.
- Experience with company intranets.
- Strong communication skills across various mediums.
- Strong creative and design skills, utilizing Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft 365 programs.
- Excellent IT skills.
- Excellent administration skills.
