Picker Packer Operative
Our client based in Malvern are looking for a Picker/Packer operative to join their Logistics team on their day shift.
This role is initially for 8 weeks and could be extended depending on performance.
You will be responsible for packaging and booking in finished goods into stock, as well as picking, processing, preparing items for shipment and loading/unloading deliveries and collections.
Other duties for the role will include:
*Weighing/bagging and booking finished goods into stock.
*Collecting and moving components e.g. from Mould Shop
*Picking of finished goods
*Processing, Labelling and preparing goods for shipment
*Loading/Unloading and receiving of external deliveries
*Kitting Duties (holiday/absence cover)
*Ensuring that all Logistics areas are kept clean, safe and tidy, in accordance with the company's requirements
The right candidate for this picker/packer operative should:
*Attention to detail with a highly focused approach to quality
*Excellent communication and IT skills
*Ability to show resilience and a flexible approach
*The willingness to learn new skills and to adapt to changing processes and technology.
*The ability to conform to the set out processes.
*The ability to work as part of a team, as well as individually.
*A current forklift licence would be an advantage, although training can be given
*Able to work under pressure with a Safety and Quality mindset
Hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 to 16:30
Pay: £8.91p/hr + Holiday Pay
