Machine Operator

This is a great time to join an established manufacturer who have seen significant growth and are investing in the site at Stourport.

Based from the manufacturing site in Stourport, you will work as part of a small team and be responsible for overseeing the setting and operation of extrusion machines, producing products to meet high customer standards.

You will report to the shift cell leader and work on a 12 hour 2 shift pattern (days and nights) Monday to Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Follow specific processes for the setting and operation of extrusion machines that will vary from job to job.
• Ensure that the quality of the product is in line with customer expectations.
• Ensure that finished product matches the retained sample.
• Run each line to the standard times that have been set for each job.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Ensure housekeeping standards are set up and maintained during production.
• Ongoing awareness of health and safety.

Requirements

• Previous Machine Operating experience, ideally extrusion.
• The ability to follow standard operating procedures.
• A team player.
• Health & Safety awareness.

Based in Stourport, Worcestershire.

Monday to Thursday 12 hour shifts / 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am (days & nights)

From £27,500 dependant on experience.
