Shifts: rotating 6:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00

We have a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company who manufactures small parts for various industries.

As a Machinist, you will programme, set and operate CNC machinery, using Fanuc control systems. You will work on small batches and so the ability to change jobs often is key. You migth still be required to use some manual machinery, however CNCs will be the main part of your role.

Machinist Responsibilities:

• Setting and programming manual machines
• Follow technical diagrams and engineering drawings
• Using variety of measuring equipment, including CMM machines and shadowgraphs
• Follow all H&S, work in 6s environment

Machinist Requirements:

• Grinding experience is essential
• Experience with CNC machinery, Fanuc control
• Ability to use all measuring equipment, including CMM and shadowgraphs
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues
• High level of detail and ability to work in fast paced, target driven environment

Based in Redditch, this Machinist role is commutable from Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Worcester and Leamington Spa.
