Marketing Executive - The Role:

As a key member of the Residential Business Team and reporting to the National Sales Manager the main focus of this Marketing Executive role will be to lead the development of the brand positioning and marketing strategy for residential business in UK with responsibility for both Retailer and Consumer communications.

Effective inter-team and cross-functional working is essential, whilst effectively and efficiently organising business resources (people and budgets) to deliver a variety of projects simultaneously to the highest standard, on time and within budget.

Work in conjunction with National Sales Manager (Residential), to develop and implement the Residential Communications strategies and plans.
Work with the Residential Sales Team giving marketing support and to ensure brand guidelines and consistent tone of voice is used.
Create and implement both online and offline communication programme to target key stakeholders (internal and external).
Increase brand presence with Retailers and be the main marketing contact for Retailer marketing enquiries.
Work in conjunction with other Marketing colleagues to develop sales tools ranging from advertising campaigns, print, online, video and instore POS.
Develop and manage the residential/consumer events calendar.
Manage Marketing budget for Residential/Consumer marketing (approx. £300k).
Manage external service providers - Advertising Agencies, PR Agencies, Web Agency and Print and Sampling service providers.
Marketing Communications - strategy development planning and implementation.
Project Delivery - performance review and evaluation.
Brand Development and increasing profile.
Development and implementation of communication plan to target key customers to increase raise profile, increase enquiries and sales.
Budgetary control.

Marketing Executive Requirements:

Business or Marketing related degree (or equivalent).
Professional Marketing qualifications.
Consumer / Residential / B2C Marketing experience.
Strong budgetary and financial control.
Experience of brand development and service delivery.
Experience of CRM systems.
Experience of photographic and printing processes and print purchasing.
Experience of managing external marketing suppliers/agencies.
Excellent project management skills.
IT literate (good MS office skills).
Strong commercial, profit orientated focus.
Excellent project management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and excellent presentation skills (MS PowerPoint).
Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills.
Ability to organise and prioritise a demanding workload.
Ability to inspire, lead, direct, organise and motivate others.
Own transport and a willingness to travel (primarily M5 corridor).
