Part time Office Administrator

This could be a fantastic opportunity to join a small, thriving building & refurbishment company who is looking for an Administrator to support Project Managers and the MD. To be a key coordinator within a small team, with an opportunity to use existing skills and develop new ones, ideally you will have experience in a similar role.

The role is varied, interesting and includes assisting in the preparation of tenders, placing orders for materials and plant, preparation and maintenance of H&S documents.

This is a very reactive role and you will confidently manage your own workload, be proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages, particularly Excel and comfortable working accurately and to deadlines.

Some key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

  • Preparation and presentation of files, inc Health and Safety files

  • Organising training for staff as required

  • Arranging accommodation for site based staff and contractors as required

  • General office organisation, answering the phone, ordering stationery, greeting visitors

In addition to the standard administrative duties, the successful candidate could also support the Project Managers on:

  • Coordinating tender enquiries

  • Working with the Project and Site Managers to coordinate all construction drawings and ensure they are issued to the relevant subcontractors

  • Obtaining quotations from suppliers (email or telephone)

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in an office based administrative position

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Confident on Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Happy to work in a constantly changing environment

  • Strong team player

This is a fully office based role in Malvern, offering approx 25 hours per week between Monday - Thursday
