There is now a great opportunity to join a well-established engineering company that designs, develops, and manufactures a range of bespoke products within the automotive industry sector as a Product Design Engineer. As a Product Design Engineer your role will focus on creating detailed designs using Catia, amending legacy designs and assisting with prototype projects.

Product Design Engineer Responsibilities;

• Create detailed product designs using Catia
• Review and amend legacy designs
• Providing assembly instructions and all supporting documentation
• Manage design projects from initial concept to delivery
• Provide technical support for engineers and customers when required
• Ensure that designs meets industry standards

Product Design Engineer Requirements;

• Previous experience working within a design engineering position
• Experienced in creating detailed designs using Catia
• Experience working within the automotive industry sector would be advantageous
• Knowledge of PPAP & APQP would be advantageous
• Experienced in managing design projects from initial concept to delivery
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Must be a team player

The Product Design Engineer opportunity is based in Stourport-on-Severn and commutable from Worcester, Kidderminster, Redditch, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Bewdley, Stourbridge and Malvern.
