My client is an innovative and specialist engineering solutions provider for the agricultural industry sector. They are seeking a Project Design Technician to gather design specifications from clients, create detailed designs and create job packs for installation engineers.

Project Design Technician Responsibilities;

• Travel to sites across the UK and liaise with customers
• Gather design specifications and ensure that product installations are feasible
• Create detailed 2D & 3D designs using AutoCAD and Inventor
• Create detailed job packs for the installation engineers
• Manage design tasks from initial concept to delivery
• Review and adjust product legacy designs to meet the clients requirements
• Provide technical support to customers and the wider engineering teams

Project Design Technician Requirements;

• Must be willing to travel to clients sites across the UK when required
• Must have experience in creating 2D & 3D designs
• Able to work on several design tasks at once
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Must be a team player
• Must possess a UK Driving License and a valid Passport

This Project Design Technician opportunity is based in Ledbury and is commutable from Malvern, Hereford, Tewkesbury and Ross-on-Wye.
