Sales Account Manager

The Company

A specialist manufacturing business supplying into the Nuclear, Defence, Telecoms and General Engineering sectors. Part of an expanding group operating in the UK and Europe.

The Role

Sales Account Manager - a role where you can develop and grow.

Based in Redditch, you will work within a dedicated sales team with scope to develop your skills and gain exposure in strategic account management and business development.

Responsibilities

• You will be given a portfolio of accounts to manage
• Obtaining and dealing with enquiries from customers in a global marketplace.
• Identify and produce a programme of sales calls for new and existing customers.
• Build a positive relationship with customers to identify their needs and improve customer purchase frequency.
• Accurately processing sales orders into the bespoke computer system & issuing associated documentation.
• Source and place material purchase orders to satisfy customer needs.
• Liaise and work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure accurate job costings and lead times are provided to each customer for each enquiry & order.
• Maintain and update CRM systems.

Requirements

• Experience of or interest in engineering would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in a customer focussed sales environment.
• Organised, reliable and IT literate - a working knowledge of Excel and Word as minimum, full training given on our bespoke computer systems.
• Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
• Numeracy skills.

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
