Software Engineer - C++ or Java

My client is a well-established provider of network cyber security who is looking to expand its Software Engineering team with high-performing C++ or Java Engineers. As a Software Engineer, you will work within the Agile Teams, identify solutions, develop an awareness of various networking standards and turn business requirements into working software.

Software Engineer Responsibilities;

• Production of tested, secure and performant code in either C++ or Java
• Understand business requirements and turn business requirements into functional software
• Review existing products and help develop upgrades
• Guide and mentor team members
• Provide technical support to the wider Engineering team

Software Engineer Requirements;

• 5 years experience using C++ or Java in a product development capacity
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket would be advantageous
• Must have a passion for quality, through testing and code reviews
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• Must be a team player
