A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a software house that provides industry-leading software within a specialist market place. The company has grown rapidly in recent years due to the success of its core product and they are now looking to expand the development team with addition C++ experts as they work on exciting new products.

As a Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing the company's cutting-edge products, contributing positively in a fast paced, high-performing team. In keeping with the collaborative approach to work, you will be also assist in mentoring junior team members and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external.

The successful candidates must have a proven track record in C++ development, including C++ 11 and STL. You should be comfortable working across the full software development life cycle and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Some knowledge or experience of any of the following would be advantageous:

  • Enterprise customers and delivering at-scale solutions
  • Development tools e.g. Jira, Qt, CMake, Conan
  • Other programming languages e.g. Java, Python
  • Operating systems Windows & Linux
  • Networking technologies (routers, switches and firewalls)
  • Test automation
  • Agile and scrum methodologies

It is commutable from Birmingham, Kidderminster, Malvern, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Hereford, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye, Evesham, Stourbridge, Bromsgrove, Redditch, Droitwich Spa and Pershore.
