My client is a market leader in engineering testing solutions within the automotive industry. Due to growth, they are now looking for a new Technical Sales Support Engineer to work alongside the sales team, providing technical information and support.

Technical Sales Support Engineer Responsibilities:

• Become a technical expert in products and solutions
• Produce technical solutions and quotations
• Support sales engineers with obtaining specifications
• Use of Salesforce and internal system
• Occasional travel to customer sites

Technical Sales Support Engineer Requirements:

• Must have experience in one of the following - powertrain systems, battery technology, 3-phase electric machine or motors, power converters/motors/generators/etc.
• Strong numerical skills
• Committed, self-motivated and ability to work under deadline pressure
• Able to travel when required, including internationally
• Sales background is not necessary as this is not a sales role, must have is a technical/specification experience within automotive, industrial or similar background
