My client is a specialist manufacturer of components for the automotive industry sector. They are seeking a Toolmaker to join their existing team to produce manufacturing tools, to provide technical support and to manufacture prototype tooling/fixtures.

Toolmaker Responsibilities;

• To maintain and repair production tooling
• Use CAD/CAM systems to develop prototype designs for new tools
• Use Tool Room machinery to produce replacement parts for production machinery
• Provide technical support to other departments
• Fault find and resolve technical issues

Toolmaker Requirements;

• Previous experience in Toolmaking
• Experienced in producing prototype tooling and jigs
• Knowledge of Wire or Spark Eroders would be advantageous
• Experienced in producing Injection Mould Tools
• Experienced working with Tool Room machinery
