Warehouse Operative

We are looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative. This fantastic opportunity is a straight permeant position for our locally based client in Kidderminster. Whilst working as part of a friendly team, you will undertake a variety of assembly, production and packing tasks, ensuring quality and production targets are met.

Duties will include:

• Picking components and packing products into various containers
• Operating shrink wrap machine, assembly of boxes
• Counting products into sets and boxing up ready for dispatch
• Assemble components into final products - using machinery when needed
• Be responsible for the quality of products produced and raise any issues with Team Leader
• Hit assembly and production targets

Requirements for the role:

• This role is physically demanding, moving items of stock and lifting boxes (weighing up to 20kg) and being on your feet throughout the day
• Experience of working in a factory or warehouse
• Experience of working to production targets/deadlines and high standards of work
• Experience of working as part of a team
• Able to lift/move boxes of components
• Good verbal communication skills
• Awareness of Health and Safety

Working Hours

8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday

Pay

£12 per hour (£23,400 per annum)
