Job Title: Warehouse & Production Support Operative

Location: Dudley (Soon relocating from Dudley to a brand-new, purpose-built facility in Worcester)
Salary: £14.84 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time

Hours of Work-

Pattern One -07.00am till 15.30 finishing 14.30 on Friday

Pattern Two- 11.30 start Monday till 19.00pm and then Tue to Fri 10.30am start

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a fast-growing business during a period of significant change. Our client is relocating from Dudley to a brand-new, purpose-built facility in Worcester, and are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse & Production Support Operative to become part of our dynamic team. This is a fantastic time to join the business, as you'll play a key role in supporting their growth and transition into this state-of-the-art facility.

In this role, you will be responsible for order picking, dispatching, product movement, and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse processes to meet production and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities

  • Order Picking & Dispatch: Accurately pick and prepare orders for dispatch in accordance with customer requirements and company procedures. Ensure products are packed securely and labeled correctly.

  • Product Movement: Safely move products from the production area to the warehouse, ensuring correct documentation and accurate stock levels.

  • Stock Accuracy: Ensure that stock received from production matches the paperwork and is stored in the correct location within the warehouse. Report discrepancies immediately to supervision.

  • Loading & Dispatch: Confirm transport details for outgoing orders, ensuring accurate paperwork and correct product handling. Follow all dispatch procedures for both dedicated and next-day collections.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the warehouse.

Skills & Requirements

  • Knowledge: Understanding of warehouse systems, commercial invoicing, transport processes, and production orders.

  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong computer literacy is essential for managing warehouse systems and documentation.

  • Attitude: Strong attention to detail, with a proactive, team-oriented approach. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

  • Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate with internal teams and external customers to resolve issues and provide timely updates.

  • Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving any discrepancies or issues in a timely and efficient manner.
