Job description

The Role

Working from the UK offices of an established international textiles manufacturer, supplying high-end, luxury carpets and rugs to independent retailers and the interior design market. All orders are manufactured in their own factory in India and imported in to the UK to meet customer demand.

Based from offices in Kidderminster, as Customer Services Administrator you will work within a small team and take on a varied role, with responsibilities to include customer service, administration and sales processing duties. You must have a good, confident telephone manner and be proficient in the use of Excel and Word.

A good grasp of maths as well as any export administration experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with sales calls from customers and from the Sales Team.
  • Processing sales orders.
  • Maintaining stock records.
  • Liaison with the Warehouse to get orders prepped, wrapped and dispatched.
  • Liaison with freight companies.
  • Placing Stocking Orders with the factory in India.
  • Weekly reports for the factory.
  • Invoicing customers.
  • Organising / making up samples for customers & reps.

Requirements

  • Fantastic customer service skills & experience.
  • Carpet industry experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Good all round IT knowledge.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Any accounting and / or export administration experience would be beneficial.

£18,000 to £25,000 annual salary.

Based in Kidderminster.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
