Graduate Java Developer

A fantastic, entry level opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Java Developer to join a software development house delivering enterprise java software solutions within niche market sectors. Working within a friendly environment with a technically astute team, you will get the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, from requirements capture through to implementation, test, deployment and delivery. This will include working on real, live projects with real clients on real deliverables from early on, with a mentor and line manager to support you.

The successful applicant will be educated to degree level in a relevant discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics) with a good knowledge of Java programming. You should also possess a strong understanding of object orientated techniques / principles, with excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Candidates must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and be comfortable working in a team as well as independently.

The company will develop a tailored development plan for the successful applicant, providing great opportunities for personal and career progression, with a starting salary of £24-27,000. They are based in Malvern and commutable from Kidderminster, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Gloucester, Hereford, Worcester, Ledbury, Evesham, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Bewdley, Droitwich Spa and Pershore.
