Are you a qualified accountant with strong experience in group consolidation, intercompany reporting, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions? We're working with a leading manufacturer with global operations, to find a driven and detail-focused Group Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team.
Based in Herefordshire this hybrid role is a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of a thriving international business. You'll be at the centre of consolidated reporting, financial analysis, and strategic support, collaborating with finance colleagues overseas.
You'll work closely with senior leadership and finance stakeholders to:
Prepare and present accurate consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS and GAAP
Lead intercompany reconciliations across global subsidiaries
Deliver financial reporting and insights on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Support audit and due diligence activity, liaising with external advisors and auditors
Contribute to group budgeting and forecasting processes
Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements in the UK, US, and Canada
Drive process improvements and assist in identifying financial risks
Provide strategic financial support to aid decision-making across the group
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a Group Accountant or similar role within a UK-headquartered multinational business within engineering or manufacting
In-depth knowledge of IFRS and GAAP, with strong financial consolidation experience
Confident managing intercompany reconciliations
Strong analytical and reporting skills with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills - able to present financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
Collaborative team player with the ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic environment
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office applications
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics)
Familiarity with Power BI or similar financial data tools
Previous experience working on acquisition finance or investor reporting
