The Role

This Head of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental role would suit a dynamic individual who is committed and passionate about delivering and succeeding within their role.

As Head of Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental you will report to the Managing Director and provide active participation at all levels, from site based duties such as inspections and audits, through to the implementation of health and safety systems, as well as actively influencing and motivating a variety of people to ensure a sound overall performance always.

You will need to drive and have your own transport, as travelling to and from sites will be required regularly (travel expenses fully reimbursed).

Responsibilities

*Conduct maintenance & review of the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, 140001:2015 & 45001:2018).
*Implementation & maintenance of the Quality, Environmental, & Health & Safety Management Systems.
*Update documents to reflect any changes within Management Systems.
*Identify training needs throughout the business.
*Arrange & chair Quality, Environmental & Health & Safety review meetings.
*Oversee the Subcontractor vetting procedures prior to works commencing on site.
*Conduct internal process audits.
*Carry out site audits.
*Ensure the business remains compliant with all regulations/legislation/guidance.
*Review site documentation including RAMs, certifications, inductions.
*Conduct weekly fire safety checks at Head Office.
*Accident reporting & investigation.
*Ensure the correct PPE/RPE is provided to all employees.
*Work proactively and with the HSE.

Requirements

*Recent and up to date experience from within a similar role ESSENTIAL.
*Construction industry experience desirable.
*NEBOSH general certificate ESSENTIAL.
*NEBOSH construction certificate beneficial.
*Good IT and administration skills.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Proactive approach, able to work independently and as part of a team.
*Own transport is ESSENTIAL.

Based in Bromsgrove.
Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
28 Days Holiday.
Salary up to £40,000
