Production Operative

Location: Droitwich

Hours: Rotating days, patterns are - Mon -Thurs 5.45am to 13.45pm, Fri 5.45am to 11.45am. Mon - Thurs 2pm to 10pm, Fri 12.00pm to 19.05pm

Pay: £14.47 per hour for all Production Operative positions

We are recruiting Production Operatives, including Grit Blasters, Foundary Operatives and Shell Operatives for a global leader in precision manufacturing. This role is physically demanding but offers great opportunities to develop specialist skills and grow within the company.

As a Grit Blaster, you will be responsible for:

• Using high-pressure blasting equipment to clean and prepare metal components
• Removing surface imperfections to ensure a high-quality finish
• Working with precision to meet strict quality standards
• Following detailed manufacturing processes and safety guidelines

As a Foundary Operative, you will be responsible for:

- Assisting with the casting and finishing process in the foundry
- Using hoists to lift and move large metal components safely
- Loading and unloading materials
- Operating basic machinery and following strict safety procedures

Production Operative Requirements:

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work, as the role involves handling heavy equipment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Previous experience in similar roles is beneficial but not essential - full training provided
