I am currently recruiting for a rapidly growing and successful Manufacturing company in the heart of the Herefordshire countryside. Due to location having your own transport is a must.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join and manage an existing team of 3.
Duties to include:
To deal with the day-to-day financial tasks such as data entry, VAT returns and payroll. To also prepare and present monthly management accounts and any other financial reports as required to the directors.
Purchase orders and invoicing
Sales accounting and credit control
Cash and banking admin
Liaising with managerial staff, colleagues and clients
Preparing and reconciling ledger balances
General book keeping
Completing and submitting VAT returns
We are looking for the following skills and experiences:
Previous experience within a similar finance roll is essential
Excellent knowledge of Sage and spreadsheets (Sage Accounts and Sage Payroll)
AAT qualified as a minimum
A thorough, methodical approach
Strong mathematical and problem solving skills
Good communication skills
Proven commercial skills
Ability to work with and manage the financial team
Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm
Standard 28 days holiday per year (20 days plus national holidays)
