Job description

Manufacturing Technician

We are looking for a number of skilled assembly operatives for our long standing client in Malvern. This role is a temporary post for 6 months.

Duties:

  • Working to manufacturing schedules and maintaining product quality at all stages
  • Light assembly and wiring
  • Testing and calibration of opto/electro and mechanical instruments.
  • Using SAP across all areas
  • Working to instructions and time scales
  • Attend daily stand-up meeting and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Meet specified deadlines whilst working proactively

Hours

This role position if fully site based however offers a generous flexible working scheme with core hours Monday to Friday.

Core Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 3pm

Friday 8:30am - 12:30pm

At total of 37.5 hours per week must be worked.

Requirements:

  • Previous mechanical/instrument assembly experience
  • Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
  • Basic understanding of electronics
  • Good verbal communication
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Pay

£11.66 per hour
