My client is a well-established engineering company that designs, manufactures and supplies a range of bespoke products. As a Materials & Documentation Engineer, your role will work within the existing Engineering Team and along-side the Supply Chain to maintain BOMs and review materials & products.

Materials & Documentation Engineer Responsibilities

• Assess historical BOM's for product viability
• Capture and report on all product related issues
• Liaise with the OEM and Supply Chain to identify alternative solutions.
• Maintain all live BOM's within the ERP system
• Support the test and validation of all alternative / new products

Materials & Documentation Engineer Experience

- Degree, HNC, HND, Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in engineering would be beneficial
- Must be skilled in preparing technical reports and presentations
- Experience of using engineering documentation such as technical drawings and records
- Excellent communication skills are essential
- Must be a team player
