Control Panel Builder
Location: Kidderminster
Salary: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
The Company
Our client is a long-established manufacturer within the machine tool industry. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Control Panel Builder to join their electrical department. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on electrical experience, with clear progression potential into a supervisory role.
The Role
As a Control Panel Builder, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical control panels to a high standard. Working from electrical drawings, you will carry out wiring, crimping, soldering, and related tasks. This position would suit either an experienced panel builder or a trainee with some relevant experience who is eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Build and assemble control panels
Work from and interpret electrical drawings
Carry out wiring, crimping, and soldering work
Maintain accuracy and attention to detail throughout all builds
Skills & Experience
Essential:
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings
Some experience in control panel assembly or electrical wiring
Desirable:
Previous experience building control panels in a manufacturing environment
Willingness to learn and progress into a supervisory role
