The Role

Are you looking to develop your sales career in an award-winning software company? Do you enjoy talking with prospects and understanding their needs?

As a highly driven Sales Development Representative you will play a key part in maintaining the company's impressive growth record.

You will focus on building and maintaining relationships with decision-makers and influencers within the target market and as you learn, you'll begin to contact and follow-up in-bound sales enquiries, building and nurturing relationships and converting enquiries into sales-ready opportunities.

You will work closely with the Field Sales team, helping them maintain a healthy pipeline of engaged opportunities. In addition, you will work with the Marketing team to help develop and execute business development campaigns to stimulate interest in specific products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Qualify inbound enquiries and convert to sales-ready opportunities.
  • Learn, understand and communicate the value proposition to prospects.
  • Develop opportunities, overcome objections and understand the prospect's needs and issues.
  • Follow-up on marketing activities including webinars, events, partner & customer events.
  • Work with the Field sales team to schedule calls, meetings and demos with prospects.
  • Keep abreast of industry, technology & the competitive landscape.
  • Acquire and record prospect data from initial conversations and touchpoints.
  • Research prospect companies and ensure clean and accurate data is entered and maintained within CRM.
  • Manage live webchat on the company website to qualify and schedule calls with website visitors.
  • Outbound lead generation via phone, email and social networks.
  • Assisting with live events, conferences, webinars and expos.
  • Meet and exceed your qualified opportunities, demos & meetings quotas each month.

Requirements

  • Degree and/or business experience, preferably in a B2B setting.
  • Sales/sales development experience preferable.
  • Excellent communication skills via phone, email and webchat.
  • Strong desire and aptitude to grow within the Sales and Marketing team.
  • Proficiency with CRM Software & MS Office

Based in Kidderminster.

Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm

£24,000 - £28,000 (£30k - £35k OTE).
