Location: UK & Ireland (Field Based) - Kidderminster HQ
Starting Rate: £16.00 per hour + Overtime
Hours: Full-time, flexible with travel and overnight stays required

The Company

Our client is a leading specialist in swarf management systems, supplying and maintaining equipment across the UK and Ireland. Due to movement within the department, they are seeking a Service Engineer with a strong mechanical background to join their team, delivering first-class service and technical support to their customers.

The Role

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of swarf management systems across customer sites. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys travelling, problem-solving, and providing high-quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site servicing of machines, pumps, switches, and system operations
• Install swarf management systems on machine tools (e.g. Mazak, Matsuura, Okuma)
• Deliver breakdown coverage, fault-finding, and repair work across the UK & Ireland
• Check machine interfaces and ensure operational efficiency
• Travel to customer sites with occasional overnight stays (paid door-to-door)

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Mechanical bias with some electrical work
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK & Ireland
• Ability to work independently and to customer deadlines
• Flexible approach with excellent problem-solving skills

Desirable:

• Relevant engineering qualifications or certifications
• Previous field service experience in machinery or related sectors
